Not tomorrow.

Not later.

Right now.

With his cat Bartholomeow reluctantly dragged along for the ride, Mo launches a series of high-stakes, structurally unsound operations to breach the freezer. But when his final, most magnificent attempt ends in total, sticky disaster, Mo is forced to face the ultimate childhood tragedy: No.

Mo Wants Ice Cream skips the lecture and goes straight for the laughs. It is an honest, funny tribute to the unhinged persistence of children, and a truth they often know better than adults: sometimes the best part of the day is not getting what you wanted.

Mo Wants Ice Cream

Stella writes funny picture books about big feelings, stubborn hopes, and the wonderfully messy business of being human.

A lifelong bookworm, she spent her childhood lost in stories and inventing her own. Although she later studied Biology and Cognitive Neuropsychology, her love of storytelling never left — it actually became richer.

Today she creates warm, humorous picture books that invite children to laugh, wonder, and recognise themselves on the page. She lives in Granada, Spain, where she writes, reads, and sometimes takes life advice from fictional children.

Her debut picture book, Mo Wants Ice Cream, is a funny story about disappointment, imagination, and what happens when reality refuses to cooperate.
